When: Thursday, November 1
Where: Lancaster, CA
Rite Aid associates in Lancaster, CA, are busy spreading RA50 Acts of Wellness! Earlier in October, they helped organize the 1st Annual Harvest Festival in Leona Valley, CA, and in November they teamed up with the City of Lancaster and High Desert Runners for a fun, one-mile Monster Mash Mile Run/Walk through the streets of downtown Lancaster that was held on November 1, 2012.
The event drew more than 50 participants, some of whom even donned Halloween costumes in the spirit of the holiday. All proceeds from the run/walk went to Children’s Center of Antelope Valley, an organization that provides services to young victims of abuse, children at risk of abuse, and their families. They also offer comprehensive prevention, intervention, and treatment services.
