Keeping Harrisburg Students Healthy

Where: Harrisburg, PA

RA50 moved on to the Harrisburg School District on September 13. We visited all 11 public schools in the district with essential supplies for the nurses in each school. Our bigblue bins included everything from first aid kits to personal care items and healthy snacks that nurses often provide to students.

We had the opportunity to meet the dedicated staff and be welcomed by student leaders.  Great new relationships were forged, and the nurses and Wellness Ambassadors will continue to work together throughout the year on everything from student and parent education to screenings and flu clinics.
