The final stop for RA50 was to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, a program that provides financial assistance and support to members of the Naval Services of the United States and their family members. After meeting with program officials and learning the impact these critical services have on mothers and their families, we were excited to aid the program’s efforts by providing 50 New Family Kits for military families with deployed parents.
Deployment can be a stressful time, especially for new families. We were happy to provide all the essential items parents need when taking care of a new baby, such as diapers, baby lotion and shampoo, giving the families one less thing to think about.
