When: Thursday, October 11
Where: Cleveland, OH
Recent studies show one in eight Clevelanders have diabetes, making it higher than the nation’s average. That’s why Rite Aid joined forces with the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland on Thursday, October 11, to provide free diabetes screenings, diabetes risk assessments and medication consultations at the Rite Aid Station in Public Square. However, screenings weren’t the only item on the agenda. Participants were taken by surprise as Greater Cleveland Jazzercise overtook Public Square in an exercise flash mob, highlighting the importance of regular exercise and healthy eating to help prevent and manage diabetes!
