Baldwin Center Community Soup Kitchen

When: Sunday, August 5

Where: Pontiac, MI

A team of Rite Aid associates in Pontiac, MI, have adopted the Baldwin Center Community Soup Kitchen, with a mission to feed, clothe, educate and empower the men, women and children of the Pontiac community. The center offers more than 25 support groups that meet basic needs, offer assistance in crisis, and provide education and enrichment opportunities for adults and children. The center also serves as a safety net for the community.

The team has worked with the Baldwin Center Community Soup Kitchen for over a year and has participated in a Holiday Turkey give-away, serving meals to the community, working in the pantry and participating in the Baldwin Back to School Bash where 600 backpacks were given to the children returning to school in the Pontiac area.
